Castlerock is a privately owned company, established in 2000. Over 18 years we have grown into a trusted fund manager through our unique approach to developing, and managing office buildings leased to Governments throughout Australia. It’s a tried and tested method that sees investors coming back, again and again.

We enable investor’s to access predictable long-term income and giving them control over their financial futures. It’s all part of our mission to secure the future for the Castlerock community while supplying long-lasting value to the government for the provision of services. What we build today creates a better tomorrow for all.

We have a strong track record in providing vital government infrastructure through the delivery of pre-committed office buildings for the Commonwealth and State Governments of Australia. It is our deep knowledge of this niche sector and our commitment to the life of our assets that sets us apart.

    Hank Bronts

    Managing Director and Founder

    Hank has been successfully providing asset and funds management services to the owners of office buildings with government tenants since 1990. Over this time, he has developed special expertise that has enabled Castlerock to become a trusted partner in the Government sector. Hank has developed more than 30 properties over his career.

    Adam Bronts

    Director – Business Development

    Adam is responsible for all aspects of business development at Castlerock and has been with the company for more than 14 years. Adam has overseen the development of all projects since 2007 and is in charge of stakeholder liaison. He ensures projects not only meet budget through design development but also meet the high expectation of future tenants.

    Director – CFO

    Jason joined Castlerock in 2008 and is responsible for the financial management of the business. Prior to joining Castlerock, Jason spent time at KordaMentha in Melbourne, Macquarie Bank in Sydney and Legal & General Investment Management in London. Jason holds Bachelor degrees in Engineering and Commerce.

    Matthew Chun

    Matthew Chun has over 26 years' of property funds management expertise across all property sectors including development.  During his career he has been a CEO and Director of ASX listed property organisations and has been involved in the development and acquisition of over $3 billion of real estate throughout Australia.

    Matthew has a number of non executive and advisory board positions.

    Rob Schieber

    Non Executive Chairman - Advisory Board

    Robert brings a wealth of 28 years’ experience to clients, having worked in both industry and public practice. He intimately understands the financial demands facing business owners and is well positioned to provide timely, relevant and practical advice.

    Robert’s focus is on assisting clients to grow and protect their businesses’. He achieves this through providing strategic management, taxation, asset protection and succession planning advice.  This is coupled with extensive experience in structuring, valuations, buy-sell transactions and business planning.  His knowledge and experience encompasses practical advice for businesses in all phases of their life cycle.

    Director – Projects

    Aaron joined Castlerock in 2009 and brings a proven track record of delivering successful projects for nearly two decades. Aaron holds a Bachelor of Civil Engineering, a Bachelor of Science and several other qualifications. In his role Aaron provides leadership to Castlerock’s design, procurement, construction and facility management teams.

Castlerock is built on 18 years of experience developing and managing office buildings that Commonwealth and State Governments lease throughout Australia. With a deep knowledge of our niche and a commitment to the sustainability of our assets, we offer investors steady long-term growth.

We have successfully developed over 25 office buildings leased to Government departments across Australia and we’re continuing to develop more. We currently manage over 30 Government buildings nationally.

Built for purpose, NABERS and Greenhouse accredited - our buildings are energy efficient, economical and sustainable to operate. Proactive management throughout the lease minimises energy and water consumption while maximising profitability.

Buying local

We have successfully delivered projects in all states and territories, ranging from 250m2 facilities in remote aboriginal communities of Maningrida and Yuendumu to a 6,500m2 facility in Perth. We engage local building labour, managers and maintenance staff. Castlerock is deeply invested in communities our buildings serve.

Social responsibility

We are committed to giving back to communities, and on each project we engage Indigenous and local suppliers by priority. We believe that in building wealth for investors, we can also build a better society. Castlerock also designs and builds fully accessible buildings for all users.
