Townsville development once again achieves 6-star NABERS energy rating

Castlerock is excited to share that our building at 445 Flinders Street in Townsville has once again achieved a six-star NABERS energy rating.

Sitting in our Auslink Property Trust No. 2 Fund, the development is the only building in North Queensland to achieve this accolade. An achievement we are extremely proud of.

The highest NABERS energy rating is difficult to earn, it measures a buildings performance on a scale of 0-6 stars based on the sustainability of the building in regard to energy efficiency. 

In all developments we make it a priority to invest time, effort, and money in achieving significant NABERS ratings across all assets in our funds.

There are many benefits of having a high NABERS rating, it’s widely recognized as a mark of an excellent environmental achievement, which is reflected positively onto the building.

These achievements are not only great for Castlerock but also help buildings and workplaces meet expectations to be greener and encourages owners and tenants to reduce their own environmental footprint.
