We’re proud to share that Castlerock has officially achieved ISO 14001:2015 certification, a globally recognised standard for environmental management systems. This demonstrates our ongoing commitment to sustainability and responsible environmental management across our operations.
At Castlerock, we believe that protecting and managing our physical and social environment is an integral part of our organisation’s daily operations. Our goal is to protect and preserve the environment for both present and future generations, while continually improving how we operate to meet and exceed the expectations of our clients and communities.
Our Environmental Management System (EMS) has been developed in line with ISO 14001:2015 standards, embedding clear processes and accountability across all levels of management and staff. This certification recognises the collective effort of our team to implement sustainable practices that make a tangible difference.
Looking ahead, our environmental objectives for 2025 - 2026 include:
- Diverting at least 80% of site-generated waste from landfill through reuse and recycling.
- Achieving zero chemical spill incidents by improving hazardous material storage and response protocols.
- Maintaining strong erosion and sediment control measures to prevent contaminants entering stormwater systems.
Achieving ISO 14001 certification is an important milestone for Castlerock, and a reflection of our long-term commitment to environmental stewardship and continual improvement.
